Are you getting an error message like below when trying to save a video in Screencast-o-matic while on a Windows computer on MPC's campus?
The problem is a missing file in the screencast-o-matic folder. MPC's IT department figured out a solution:
- Windows Key + R (That means, simultaneously press the Windows key and the R key. What's the Windows key?)
- In the Open text box copy & paste this line:
xcopy \\ourgang\Screencast-O-Matic\libopenh264.dll %LocalAppData%\Screencast-O- Matic-v2\som-native-ffmpeg- win32-0.5\ - Click OK.
- Try saving in screencast-o-matic again.
